When I was small

I was always in a rush ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

to accomplish myself

and prove that I was the best

When I was small,

I was always in a rush ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

and walked with a quick pace

to reach every desired place

When I was small,

I was always in a rush ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

and dared without a thought ๐Ÿ™‰

to catch the fastest train

When I was small,

I was always in a rush ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

to stay ahead in a queue

and escape all the jams

When I was small,

I was always in a rush ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

to run ahead of time

in fear of having to deal with misses

Since I was small

and always in a rush ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

I made a lot of blunders ๐Ÿ˜ต

that put me after others

Now I am no longer small,

and have realised my mistakes,

that ‘Haste only makes a terrible waste’

and this hardly keeps you safe

As I am no longer small,

though done with material slips,

my power is now weak,

and my confidence is a little mess

The growing up was tough

for it has taught me this lesson of wisdom,

that no matter how hard you try,

you always get, but only what you must get

So now whenever I feel like hurrying,

I make sure to hold my breath,

stop a little and reflect๐Ÿค”

and watch before I take my steps

————- So now I DON’T RUSH ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿšถโ€
